Dirt and liquids are not a problem for the new MF2 keyboard with integrated mouse control from Schurter.
The PC keyboard and the mouse control are integrated under a single, uninterrupted keyboard overlay. The keyboard is constructed in a desktop housing so that its angle can be adjusted for user comfort. The plane surface with an IP 65 degree of protection can be easily cleaned and is dust- and water- tight.
The overlay is constructed out of polyester and is, therefore, resistant against typical chemical cleaners and disinfectants. A distinct actuating point is achieved through a snap dome action.
A smooth integration in existing systems is guaranteed through various interfaces.
Standard PS2, USB or AT interfaces are available for the keyboard connection. The Touchpad can be connected using a PS2 or an RS232 interface. Key areas for applications for this keyboard are industrial, laboratory instruments or in medical technology.
