100 W embedded switch-mode power supply

Traco Power announced the release of its new TML 100 series encapsulated power supplies. The TML 100 series comes in a chassis-mount casing with screw terminal block for easy connection.

Despite their compact dimensions, the units can operate reliably at up to 50°C at full load and up to 70°C with 50% load reduction. High efficiency, remote on/off and active power factor correction qualify this product for energy conscious applications.

The construction of this power supply is prepared for protection class I and II operation, with or without earth connection. EMC characteristics and safety certifications are aligned for operation in industrial and residential environments.

The device uses active PFC and the unit has a power factor greater than 0,95 at 230 V a.c. input. It also has a high efficiency of up to 93%. The output voltage is adjustable by ±5% and has an LED output indicator. The TML-100 series has a universal input 100-240 V a.c. nominal and low leakage current.

The TML 100 series is well suited for industrial applications where high reliability and a small case size are required.
