RabbitCore named Innovation of the Year
8 May 2002
News
Earlier this year, Rabbit Semiconductor was selected from a field of hundreds of candidates as a winner in the EDN 2001 Innovation of the Year awards competition.
The company's Ethernet-enabled RabbitCore RCM2200 microprocessor core module received the most votes among qualifying finalists in the Computers, Boards, and Buses product/technology area. The exclusive awards program, sponsored by EDN Worldwide magazine, is dedicated to honouring outstanding engineering products in the electronics industry.
The RCM2200 simplifies the development of network-enabled embedded systems at an extremely low recurring cost. Only half the size of a credit card, it includes the powerful Rabbit 2000 microprocessor, 256K of flash memory, 128K of SRAM, four serial ports, 26 I/O, and built-in 10Base-T Ethernet. Using the RCM2200, users can control, monitor, and debug embedded systems across any network or the Internet. It is supported by a complete software development kit and features a royalty-free TCP/IP stack, prototyping board, and the industry-proven Dynamic C development system.
