Density DC/DC converter in DIL-24

An addition to the large program of DC/DC converters from Traco Power is a 8 W converter in a low profile DIL-24 metal package with industry standard pinout.

These high density converters, comprising 21 models have been designed for a wide range of space critical applications including tele- and data-communication and industrial process control systems. Standard output configurations are 3,3 V/2000 mA, 5 V/1500 mA, 12 V/660 mA, ±5 V/800 mA, ±12/330 mA, and ±15 V/260 mA. Wide input ranges (9-19, 18-36 and 36-75 V d.c) and a shutdown input make this product also interesting for battery operated equipment.

The high efficiency allows operating temperatures up to +71°C without derating. The ten 8 series features short circuit protection, input filter to EN 55022, class A and an input/output isolation of 1500 V d.c.
