VMI has launched a new series of high voltage power supplies. The first products now available include four distinct power supplies each designed for specific applications where higher voltage requirements and high reliability are required.
* CRS-Series, used in CRT applications, features an anode voltage range of 8 kV to 12 kV and an adjustable G2 voltage of up to 400 V. The CRS series is PCB mountable, rugged and lightweight. The series features superior voltage regulation and low ripple. Arc and short circuit protection are standard features.
* HVP-Series, a 250 W, 125 kV fully adjustable power supply, offers built-in EMI filtering, safety interlocks, overvoltage, overcurrent arc and short circuit protection and constant voltage/constant current operation. Other standard features include programmable voltage and current and voltage and current monitoring.
* LP6-Series, an industry standard HeNe laser power supply, features extremely low ripple voltage for precision applications. The LP6 series generates 8,5 kV d.c. from a 15 V d.c. input. It is rugged, lightweight and highly reliable.
* XRS-Series, used in portable X-ray applications, provides up to 8 W of output power at -40 kV. The outputs are fully adjustable over the operating range of -10 to 60°C. Voltage and current can be programmed and monitored. The XRS is rugged and lightweight with superior load and line regulation.
