NetTest receives technology award for optical spectrum analyser

NetTest has announced that its Model 4791 Optical Spectrum Analyser (OSA) module for the CMA4000i was awarded the Fiberoptic Product News 2001 'Test Equipment' Technology Award.

Fiberoptic Product News presents its annual awards at the Optical Fiber Conference (OFC) to vendors who have delivered industry-leading products. In the last year, it featured more than 2000 products that cover a broad spectrum of applications.

NetTest's Model 4791(2) Optical Spectrum Analyzer has the capability to monitor over 400 channels in the C&L band for wavelength, power, signal-to-noise ratio, channel spacing and drift. Combined with NetTest's CMA4000i Optical Test System, the Model 4791OSA module is the essential tool for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DWDM systems.
