The MajorTech MT789 is a true-RMS digital power meter with energy integration function. This user-friendly meter has many applications such as appliance testing, checking industrial and commercial power systems, plant maintenance, and inspection and utility testing.
The MT789 is able to measure True Power, Apparent Power and Reactive Power (AC to 750 kW/KVA/KVar). The Energy Integrator function can measure kWh, kVAh, kVARh up to a maximum of 80 hours. The Power Factor (cos j) mode can measure from 0,3 capacitive (lead) to 1 to 0,3 inductive (lag).
The MT788 is an optional 3-phase adaptor, which generates an artificial neutral point when measuring true power, apparent power or power factor in either balanced or unbalanced 3 phase/3 wire power distribution systems.
Other features of the MT789 include the measurement of AC current to 700 A, min/max record mode, Time Stamp for the Energy Integrator, Auto Ranging, Data Hold as well as Auto Power off. The MT789 meets IEC 1010-1, CAT III 600 V standards.
