Infineon fibre-optics offers discrete optical components for a wide range of telecom and datacom applications. FP and DFB lasers as well as PIN photodiodes with optional integrated preamplifiers are available for optical windows at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. All discrete components are based on the use of hermetically sealed TO components. Unique submount technology allows for comparatively small dimensions as well as high temperature stability and reliability. Different packaging options (receptacle or pigtail), pinout configurations and connector options are available.
