Agilent Technologies has introduced two new members of its performance spectrum analyser (PSA) family that provide engineers in aerospace/defence, emerging communications and cellular communications with speed, accuracy, dynamic range and sensitivity for measuring complex RF, microwave and millimetre wave signals.
The new analysers are code-compatible with the 8566 and 8568 spectrum analysers. This significantly reduces replacement costs because code rewrite is kept to a minimum. Code compatibility also helps protect the original investment and makes the new products the least expensive alternative for updating legacy systems. To make it cost-effective for customers to upgrade, Agilent is also offering a 25% credit on trade-ins of their Models 8566B and 8568B spectrum analysers.
Agilent updated the PSA family to meet the latest requirements of common communications formats, such as 1xEV-DO, W-CDMA, cdma2000, GSM/EDGE, CDMA, NADC/PDC.
