Microwave multilayer capacitors

AVX Corp is offering an extended range of porcelain and ceramic multilayer capacitors (MLCs) for RF and microwave applications ranging from 1 MHz to 10 GHz. Designated the AQ Series, these capacitors feature excellent stability under stresses of changing voltage, frequency, time and temperature, and are now available in 0603 case sizes for space sensitive applications.
Offering lower equivalent series resistance (ESR) and higher current carrying capabilities, these MLCs are characterised by a fine grain, high density, high purity dielectric material that is resistant to moisture and features internal palladium electrodes. AQ Series capacitors are ideal for RF/microwave applications that require high current-carrying capabilities, low ESR and high series resonance.
The AQ Series capacitors feature capacitance values from 0,1 pF to 5100 pF. Rated voltage ranges from 50 to 500 V d.c., with a temperature coefficient of 90 ±20 ppm/°C or ±0,30 ppm/°C. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
