Ventilated housing system can quickly be installed on DIN rails

OKW's Railtec installation case line is a fully-insulated, shockproof series of cases that is suited to simple snap-in assembly on standard DIN EN 50 022 rails.
The case dimensions are based on DIN 43880, size 1. Available installation widths are 35, 70, 105 and 157 mm. The height is 86 mm, and the depth 58 and 58,5 mm. Six different versions of the upper part allow users to implement the solution that matches their application. For example, standard commercial components such as PCB terminals or PCB plug connectors with a module size of 5,0 or 5,08 mm, as well as screw-type terminal connectors can be used. A fully closed version is available for connections at the front. The number of terminals depends on the size of the casing and range from 10 to 52 terminals. All versions are now also available with top and bottom ventilation slots in order to ensure optimum dissipation of the heat from the integrated components.
As well as the screw-mounted main board, two plug-in secondary boards can each be accommodated vertically and horizontally. The snap-in clip in the lower part guarantees simple and quick assembly on DIN rails. The easy assembly and flush side panels make it possible to combine several cases. A transparent lid is available as an accessory that protects the front display and controls from unauthorised use or damage.
