Wireless and broadcast engineers to benefit from two new spectrum analyser options

Agilent offers two new options designed to enhance the performance and expand the scope of the HP ESA-E Series portable spectrum analyser family.
For wireless service provider system-maintenance managers, the external mixing option AYZ on the HP E4407B spectrum analyser provides the ability to measure signals up to 110 GHz. Users can perform 23 measurements per second when sweeping the A band (26,5-40 GHz), up to 13 times faster than comparably priced products according to Agilent.
For TV broadcast maintenance engineers, option B7B for HP's ESA-E Series provides TV trigger measurements with a picture on screen that helps verify modulation quality. This option enables engineers to view TV images on the analyser's LCD in NTSC, PAL and SECAM standards.
The HP ESA-E Series portable spectrum analyser family, introduced March 1999, offers engineers in R&D, manufacturing and field service faster measurement speed, greater accuracy and better dynamic range. The HP ESA-E Series' flexible platform allows users to enhance the spectrum analyser's performance as their requirements change.
Models are:
HP E4401B 1,5 GHz HP E4402B 3,0 GHz HP E4404B 6,7 GHz HP E4405B 13,2 GHz HP E4407B 26,5 GHz
External mixing is available only in the HP E4407B. TV trigger is available in all five HP ESA-E Series spectrum analysers.
