Key features for FP laser diodes are: compliant with Bellcore standard; uncooled coaxial package designed for digital applications; hermetically sealed subcomponents, similar to TO18; tertiary photodiode at rear mirror for monitoring and control of radiant power; silicon submount technology for high temperature stability; different pinouts and package options (TO component, receptacle and pigtail versions with optional flange) available; and different connector options.
