Use polypropylene when other dieletrics are not good enough

10 September 2002 Passive Components

Eurofarad's miniature polypropylene capacitors offer superior current handling capability. These capacitors are ideal for low cost switch mode operations and other thyristor circuit and nonpolar dielectric applications.

The Type PP20 are metallised miniature polypropylene dielectric capacitors designed for long life performance, vacuum encapsulated in self extinguishing epoxy resin, and impervious to cleaning solvents. They offer high current capability, high stability and very low losses.

The high insulation resistance and low 'Tan-Delta' make these capacitors ideal for low level circuits, giving inherent high stability..
