Filtered D-Sub with power/signal contacts

Amphenol offers its Filter Combo D-Sub, 5W5 arrangement with fixed machine contacts and a zinc die cast cover. With Amphenol's stress isolated and solderless design, the company says it is able to manufacture a very rugged/robust connector that can withstand the physical stress expected in the assembly of cable assemblies.

This filter combo is available in the 5W5 combination with four or five socket solder cup power contacts, with a current rating of 20 or 40 A. The connector is designed to accommodate up to two high voltage chip capacitors per line, which enables total capacitance to be increased and this improves the insertion loss performance.

This 'compact package' gives the customer more room to solder the and cable with fewer components than the standard hood with accessories, speeds up the assembly process. The connector is UL1977 approved.
