Twin relay for SMD rated at 30 A

A Double Micro power relay K from Tyco Electronics is said to be the smallest twin relay for surface mount technology. Weighing in at only 8 g it allows a maximum continuous current of 30 A as well as low noise operation.

Nominal voltage is 10 V or 12 V with other voltages on request. Power of coil is 0,64 W and max switching rate is 50 Hz on no load. Operate time is 3 ms and release 1,5 ms. In Form A/C configuration the contact material is AgSnO2 (AgNi0.15 on request). Max resistive/inductive switching load is 40 A (on) 30 A (off).

The SMD-terminals are designed for convection and infrared reflow. Typical applications are for rear window and seat heating, wiper and indicator control, and motor management. This sealed relay is immersion cleanable; protection class IP67.
