PVA has introduced the SV100 auger valve for high viscosity pastes and filled chemistries. A servo motor operates at adjustable speeds and turns an auger to displace material in dot or bead patterns. A stainless steel auger is available in 8, 16 or 32 pitch sizes for a variety of dispensing characteristics. Dots as small as 0,51 mm in diameter can be achieved with this valve. An adjustable reverse motor motion provides clean shut offs by pulling material back at the end of the cycle. The SV100 is field maintainable and includes a disposable feed tube for quick clean up at the end of the day. It can be used in either handheld or automated processes.
