Narda Safety Test Solutions' Area Monitor System 2600 makes it possible to permanently monitor and analyse EMF levels for areas in both the immediate and more distant vicinity of transmitting antennas or other sources of electromagnetic radiation. The results can be called up by remote control, stored for future reference and statistically evaluated. The system is operated and the responsible personnel are warned using wireless GSM technology via PC or mobile phone. The probes are especially sensitive and deliver reliable measurements up to 18 GHz even at low field strengths.
The Area Monitor System 2600 consists of a measuring unit with an isotropic probe housed in a weatherproof casing. Solar cells and an integrated buffer battery have been included so the device requires no extra electricity supply. The Software 2600 makes it possible to control an almost unlimited number of monitoring stations centrally and independently of where the measurements are taken. This minimises personnel and operating costs.
