Said to be the world's most portable VGA display system, the MicroOptical display system is seamlessly incorporated in a conventional eyeglass frame and lens. The MicroOptical display system features a patented combination of optics, electronics and a microdisplay. A small LCD, hidden in the temple of the eyewear, generates high-resolution, 24-bit colour text, graphics and video images (640 x 480 pixels, 60 Hz refresh rate). The user views the information through hidden optics, which magnify the image and present it to the eye with minimal obstruction to vision. The user sees a large image floating in space at an adjustable distance of a few feet or more.
