Omron's new advanced 3G3RV inverter is useful in many typical applications like handling, hoisting, conveyors, cranes, fans and pumps and many others. This is a general purpose drive, suitable for constant torque and variable torque applications. The 3G3RV inverter can easily be adjusted to specific applications, so it fits seamlessly into one's machine.
The inverter can be used in 'Sensorless Vector' control mode or V/f with and without feedback. The inverter is equipped with a PID controller, standstill auto-tuning function, copy function, RS485 Modbus communication, high slip braking, energy saving function and removable LED display as standard.
Main options are the LCD display and the Devicenet option. The high slip braking function makes faster ramp down possible without the use of an external braking resistor. The IGBTs of the RV inverter are very well protected against overcurrents and overvoltages, ensuring a long lifetime of the inverter. The Omron RV inverter possesses very accurate control, which is provided by the static and dynamic auto-tune functions.
The range is covered by global certification for CE, UL and ULc. The Omron RV ranges from 0,4 to 160 kW at 400 V 3-phase. Drives up to 300 kW will be available in the near future.
