Power Electronics / Power Management
Decades of experience with polypropylene pulse capacitors for any conceivable application are involved in the development of the Wima Snubber MKP and Wima Snubber FKP capacitor series for high power conversion.
Wima offers snubber capacitors both in double-sided metallised pulse version - Wima Snubber MKP - and for extremely high pulse ratings in self-healing film/foil technology - Wima Snubber FKP. The numerous connecting options ensures high flexibility and offers the possibility of direct mounting onto IGBT modules.
Features:
* Tags soldered directly to the schoopage for safe contacts at high RMS currents.
* Low inductance construction achieved by end-surface contacting.
* High pulse reliability due to double-sided metallisation and/or film foil construction.
* Low loss polypropylene dielectric.
* High voltage/overvoltage strength by internal series connection with self-healing metallised floating electrode.
* Available in various contact configurations.
* Flame-retardant plastic case, UL 94 V-0.
