Diotec's MicroDIL MYS 40-250 series are claimed to be the smallest bridge rectifier in their class. Rated for currents 0,5 A and input voltage to 250 Veff, the MYS series has a case dimension of only 3 x 3 mm2. The device delivers a direct current output of up to 0,5 A (at 50°C) and peak crest currents to 6 A. Input voltage can vary from 40 to 250 V.
Packed in surface-mount housing the device is particularly suited for portable applications, where space and weight are critical parameters. Applications are in mobile telephones, plug-in power supply units and protective circuits for data lines.
