Linear Technology's LT3430 is offered in industrial temperature grade as the LT3430IFE. The LT3430 is a constant frequency, step-down switching regulator that uses a 3 A internal switch. It can operate within a VIN range of 5,5 to 60 V and can deliver up to 2,75 A of continuous output current at voltages as low as 1,25 V. Unique high voltage architecture enables efficiencies as high as 90%. Uses a constant 200 kHz switching frequency keeping external components small, and switching noise low. Alternatively, an external sync allows 228 to 700 kHz range. The LT3430IFE is the I-grade version of the LT3430EFE. All electrical specifications are identical however, the I-grade devices are tested and guaranteed to operate from a -40 to 125°C.
