Intersil has added three new members to its MightyMUX high-performance analog switch line. The ISL84521, ISL84522 and ISL84523 quad switches are available in 16-lead SOIC, 16-lead TSSOP and 16-pad QFN packages. They feature low leakage currents (10 nA max) to lengthen hold times in sample-and-hold-circuits and fast switching speeds (tON = 45 ns, tOFF = 15 ns) to reduce propagation delays in timing sensitive applications. These switches also offer minimal charge injection of only 5 pC (max) to maximise signal integrity. In small 3 x 3 mm QFN package each IC provides four single-pole single-throw (SPST) configured switches and operate from single 2 to 12 V supply or a dual ±2 to ±6 V supply. ISL84521: all normally closed (NC); ISL84522: all normally open (NO); ISL84523: two normally open and two normally closed switches, which can be configured as a double-pole double-throw (DPDT) switch or as dual 2-to-1 multiplexers.
