Agilent's HSMF-C118 tricolour ChipLED is designed in a miniaturised package for next generation feature-rich Handsets and PDAs. High efficiency LED dice; AlInGaP red, InGaN blue and GaP green, are used to produce high light output. By mixing the three primary colours, a wide variety of colours that can suit any application are produced. The tricolour ChipLED helps handset and PDA designers to select a backlighting colour to differentiate its products, and allow colours to change based on a particular application. Other target applications are as status indicators, panel indicators, in office automation, home appliances and industrial equipment.
