Schurter has developed a new variation of its switches and keypads to accommodate rough environmental conditions as well as to provide protection against vandalism.
The MCS 19 metallic is a switch from the metal line that is being offered with new design possibilities. The front side of the basic module is very flat, reducing the likelihood of damage due to vandalism. The new version with a stainless steel surface is ideal for outdoor applications. Colour adjustments for customer housings are also possible, alternatively, the actuator or the switch housing can be varnished according to the provided colour specifications. Red, green and yellow are available as standard signal colours. In addition, the switches can be laser-lettered with symbols or characters.
The switch has a 19 mm mounting diameter and has good tactile feedback. The nut and sealing ring, which accompany the switch, allow for a close-fitting and quick mounting in the housing front.
