Low acoustic noise automotive single twin relay

The FTR-P5 series from Fujitsu-Takamisawa is an ultra-miniature, low acoustic noise, single relay for automotive motor control applications such as intermittent wiper, rear wiper, airconditioning and air purifier systems which demand low noise operation. The twin version, the FTR-P2 series, suits power window, memory seat and tilt steering applications.

The relay features an industry-first 'U' shape spring silent mechanism, which achieves an average low acoustic noise of 50 dB from 5 cm distance. Offering a contact with a switching capability of 25 A, the FTR-P5 dissipates a nominal power of just 450 mW. The pin-out of the relays ensures separation between coil and power line connections. The diminutive FTR-P2 measures 21,5 x 17 x 18,5 mm and the FTR-P5 only 20,4 x 9,8 x 17 mm.
