Schurter's product range of surface-mount fuses has been extended by the USF 0603, the smallest fuse in Schurter's range so far.
The thin-film fuse USF 0603 is only 1,6 mm long, 0,8 mm wide and 0,6 mm high. It offers over-current protection with very fast acting characteristics in a rated current range of 500 mA to 5 A. Its breaking capacity of 50 A/32 V for the whole range is a notable feature. The USF 0603 is recognised according to UL 248-1. A well visible legend marking permits visual identification of the current rating.
The USF 0603 is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 90°C and is ideal for applications in computer-peripherals, PC-cards, disk-drives, modems, personal digital assistants, fax-machines, printers, digital cameras and mobile phones. It comes in surface mount packaging for automated assembly.
