SABS hosts virtual local content business seminar

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) is holding a virtual local content business seminar to help businesses find out how they will benefit from the SABS Local Content Verification (LCV) scheme and how the scheme builds towards a more sustainable and competitive South Africa in a global environment.

Set to take place on 13 October 2021 from 10:00 to 13:00, the agenda will include a livestream panel discussion with:

• Deputy minister of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), Mr Fikile Majola.

• SABS lead administrator and COO of the DTIC, Ms Jodi Scholtz.

• SABS executive certification, Mr Katima Themba.

• SABS LCV clients.

• ‘And much more,’ according to SABS.
