Royalohm has released the QL/QRZG series of power ribbon wire-wound resistors with a high-power load rating up to 2500 W. The resistors are available in fixed resistances, but multi-terminal and variable resistance types are available on request.
These resistors exhibit good resistivity to short time overload of only ±2% maximum with no evidence of mechanical damage. They also have high resistivity to heat with a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of less than 400ppm/°C for resistances lower than 20Ω.
These high-power resistors are suitable for use in applications such as discharge equipment, power load bank, industrial braking, EV battery packs and drone charging stations.
