The LTM4673 from Analog Devices is a quad-output µmodule buck regulator with built-in digital power system management. The step-down regulator has a wide input voltage range of 4,5 to 15 V and provides four outputs: dual 12 A outputs from 0,6 to 3,3 V DC and dual 5 A outputs from 0,6 to 5,5 V DC. Total output voltage regulation with servo connected is ±0,5%.
The LTM4673 has a 400 kHz PMBus-compliant I2C serial interface and an integrated 16-bit ADC. Accurate monitoring of the input as well as the voltage, current and temperature of the four outputs is provided.
The 16 x 16 x 4,72 mm regulator has the option of combining the output in parallel with another unit for higher output current applications. The unit is drop-in pin compatible with the LTM4671 non-PSM µmodule regulator.
An evaluation kit, DC2810A, is available and includes a demonstration circuit for the LTM4673 µmodule.
