Webinar: The evolving electrification of the power distribution system

EMP 2023 Electronics Manufacturing & Production Handbook Electronics Technology

New connected car functionality, along with the necessity to reduce the cost, weight and complexity associated with wire harnesses, has led to the transformation of the power distribution system in automotive engineering. Relays and fuses are being replaced by semiconductor-based systems which are partly or fully electrified, and enable higher reliability, diagnostic capabilities, protection features and smaller size.

In this webinar Infineon will explore the expected phases and implications of the power distribution architecture revolution. Infineon’s portfolio of scalable product families enables designers to provide a complete chipset solution to simplify one’s immediate design needs and moving forward into the near future.

The following topics will be covered:

• Trends shaping vehicle power distribution systems.

• Definition of primary and secondary power distribution systems within the vehicle.

• A in-depth look at a block diagram of a power distribution application and the Infineon solutions that support it.

Date: Wednesday, 15 March 2023

Time: 18:00 CAT
