Tyco Electronics is taking all the necessary steps to support RoHS requirements. With the vast majority of its parts already converted, current literature may not yet have been updated. To determine if a part is RoHS compliant, the cross reference in Tyco's on-line RoHS Customer Support Center at www.tycoelectronics.com/leadfree can be used. Just enter the part number and the cross reference will indicate if the part is RoHS-compliant or it will supply the RoHS-compliant part number, if applicable. Additionally, an on-line RoHS Support Center provides a forum to answer questions and support users. It also offers: the ability to browse ELV and RoHS products in on-line catalogue; downloadable technical data; and customer information.
