Energy Measurements appoints Director for Latin America

Energy Measurements has appointed Marcel L¢pez Uribe, as Director, Latin America. L¢pez Uribe will be based in Mexico city.
According to Energy Measurements' Sales and Marketing Manager, Dave Simpson, the appointment is notable in terms of the company's international expansion strategy and specifically its resolution to service the central and South American market.
"The appointment of a dedicated director for Latin America was essential at this point in time in order to provide hands-on support for our growing customer base. It is also notable in terms of augmenting Energy Measurements' commitment to our existing distributor network and growing this resource by sourcing suitable business partners.
"Marcel L¢pez Uribe is a seasoned businessman. His knowledge of the nuances of regional legislation and market requirements, is extensive. His portfolio for Energy Measurements is broad but hinges on business development," adds Simpson.
Energy Measurements' Managing Director, Mark Tibbenham, notes that the appointment is expected to amplify the company's current success in the international energy and revenue management arena.
Energy Measurements, a joint venture between Siemens and Spescom, is a leading supplier of revenue management systems and solutions to local and international electricity service providers.
