The Hakko FX-972 Soldering Station is a 200 W soldering station that delivers high-performance soldering in a compact package, making it suitable for a wide range of soldering applications. In addition to the standard soldering iron, the FX-972 also offers a micro soldering iron, a high-performance soldering iron and two different types of soldering tweezers to meet the requirements of high-mass solder joints or solder joints that require fast heating times.
Engineered for high-throughput production environments, the FX-972 reduces soldering cycle times by approximately 40%, enabling faster operation without compromising performance. A large, high-brightness display with a wide viewing angle clearly presents key information, including the set temperature, tip sensor temperature and preset settings. Built-in tip sensors enable auto-sleep and auto-shutoff functions without requiring a connected iron holder.
For process traceability, the FX-972 can be connected to a PC to log set temperatures, calibration records and real-time tip temperature history throughout operation.
