NECTO studio update 7.5.0

31 August 2026 DSP, Micros & Memory

MIKROE have continued their collaboration with Renesas by introducing support for the RL78 architecture in NECTO Studio, expanding the IDE beyond its existing MCU platforms.

This update adds support for 42 new RL78 microcontrollers, together with a fully integrated RL78 LLVM compiler toolchain.

NECTO Studio users can now create, configure, build, and manage RL78 projects within the same familiar development environment, reducing setup time and providing a consistent workflow across different MCU architectures.

A new Send to NECTO Chat action has also been added to Project Explorer, enabling users to instantly share complete projects through NECTO Chat.
