Nordson acquires MLT

Cape Town-based MLT Systems Holdings and its subsidiary MLT Application Systems, have been acquired by Nordson for an undisclosed sum.
MLT employs a total of 15 people, operates additional field offices in Johannesburg and Durban, and has been the exclusive distributor of Nordson products in South Africa since 1989. Today the company distributes and services Nordson’s adhesive dispensing, EFD and Primarc UV product lines.
Nordson is a producer of precision dispensing equipment that applies adhesives, sealants and coatings to a broad range of consumer and industrial products during manufacturing operations. The company also manufactures equipment used in the testing and inspection of electronic components, as well as technology-based systems for curing and surface treatment processes. Headquartered in Ohio, USA, Nordson has more than 4100 employees worldwide, and direct operations and sales support offices in 34 countries.
