Cinterion sets up shop in Midrand

Cinterion Wireless Modules, the new independent company which emerged from a restructuring of Siemens’ wireless modules division, has relocated to its new South African premises.

Specialising in M2M (machine to machine) communications and currently with a 13 member team, the company is now situated in Waterfall Park in Midrand.

According to Brian Scott, the head of the South African setup, “We are very excited about the new company. Being an independent organisation focused on our core business will enable us to be even more competitive in this market. I am optimistic about the future and look forward to continuing the success story of Cinterion Wireless Modules in SA.”
