Motion sensor wins Elektra 2008 award

Analog Devices’ ADIS16355 iSensor multi-axis motion sensor recently won the 2008 Elektra Award as semiconductor product of the year.
The semiconductor product of the year category is judged on the criteria of innovative design, performance and meeting a customer need. The ADIS16355 was recognised for allowing industrial designers to equip their systems with sophisticated motion analysis and navigational dead reckoning functions previously reserved for defence, aerospace and other high-end applications.
The Elektra Awards are now in their sixth year and give the industry an opportunity to recognise the achievements of individuals and companies across Europe. Organised by Electronics Weekly and the Reed Electronics Group in Europe, the Elektra Awards bring together the entire industry to celebrate achievement of the highest standards that are driving the industry forward.
