Vishay develops online technical library
2 September 2009
News
Vishay has announced the availability on its website of a new library that provides one-click access to all Vishay’s application and technical notes. Designed to provide in-depth information about Vishay products and technologies and help engineers maximise circuit performance and reliability, the documents in the technical library cover a wide range of topics.
The library is divided into three main categories: semiconductor products, passive products and measurement products. Each of these is subdivided into product groups (diodes, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, etc,). The library has 21 product groups and approximately 400 topics, including fundamentals of rectifiers, physics of optoelectronic devices, current-sensing power MOSFETS, guidelines for tantalum capacitors, IHLP inductors for automotive applications, basics of linear fixed resistors, prediction of drift in resistors, strain gauge soldering techniques, and many others.
The technical library is one of several new features on the Vishay website, including a video library and virtual trade show section. Vishay updates the technical library with new documents on an ongoing basis.
