Kycon announced that its customers ranked it the top connector company, as reported in the 2009 edition of the annual survey published by Bishop & Associates. Kycon believes its ranking reflects its commitment to providing world-class service, support and product quality. The company has consistently been ranked in the top five connector companies since 2002.
Says Chris Strangways, president, “I am particularly proud of the results, considering the tough times the industry has faced throughout the past year. Our commitment to ensuring that our service levels would not suffer during a down market has been realised and rewarded with these results. This is a team effort which extends beyond Kycon. Our manufacturers, representatives and distribution partners share in this success, as well.”
Bishop and Associates, a connector industry consulting firm, annually conducts the survey that evaluates the general level of customer satisfaction in various categories. Among those categories, Kycon ranked highest in product quality, delivery reliability, sales support, customer service function and website usability. The resulting report covers over 50 connector manufacturers and is based on a comprehensive questionnaire evaluation. Survey participants include OEMs and CEMs in a wide variety of industry segments, as well as distributors.
