Joseph P. Keithley, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Keithley Instruments recently received a 2000 Innovation in Business Award from US magazine SBN.
Keithley was named as a 'Visionary', which recognises 'business people who have employed smart ideas throughout their business careers.' Keithley was honoured at the Innovation in Business Conference in September in Cleveland.
"Being recognised as a Visionary truly symbolises the goal that Keithley Instruments as an organisation has strived toward since producing its first instrument more than 50 years ago," said Keithley, who was one of five winners in the Visionary category. "This award is a reflection of Keithley's accomplishments as a company and its focus on developing value-added solutions for our customers."
Keithley Instruments has earned much recognition this year for its financial and product performance. Keithley products receiving top honours this year include the Model 2306, a telecommunications test instrument and the Model 6430 sub-femtoamp remote SourceMeter, which earned Keithley its 17th R&D 100 Award. Keithley Instruments was also named International Company of the Year by the World Trade Center Cleveland (WTTC).
