The product offering from Weller is able to ensure safety for not only electronic circuits during soldering, but also safety for the people performing the work. It has a range of fume extraction solutions so that workers are not required to gamble with their health. In addition all Weller soldering stations are equipped with various methods of potential equalisation.
To ensure safety first and maximum flexibility, a unique potential equalisation connection is provided free of charge. The jack sleeve has four possible settings:
• Hard ground – without plug (original delivery).
• Potential equalisation with plug – equalisation line on centre contact.
• Floating – without plug.
• Soft ground – with plug and resistor soldered in (grounding according to selected resistor).
