TE Connectivity‘s Detector connector is an extension of the reliable and time-tested Deutsch DT connector series. The 2-way plug features a transparent housing and a wedgelock with an integrated 12 or 24 Volt LED option. The environmentally sealed detector plug provides a visual confirmation of power to help with troubleshooting, especially in areas with difficult connector visibility and accessibility.
The connector accepts all size 16 Deutsch contacts, solid or stamped and formed, and its joint retention fingers allow both contacts to be removed at the same time. Multi-directional viewing of the LED is possible through the transparent housing. The system is compatible with pulse width modulated (PWM) control and comes with colour coded wedgelocks for 12 V d.c. (yellow) and 24 V d.c. (red) operating voltages.
