Temperature variable chip attenuators
15 November 2017, Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless

The TCAF N05 Series from API Technologies - Inmet are temperature variable chip attenuators that operate from DC to 12 GHz. The attenuators are designed to vary by -0,005 dB/dB/°C to compensate for temperature induced system gain variation without requiring a bias or control voltage.

They offer the flattest broadband performance of their kind and will allow for the creation of automatic and passive link margin compensation on a variety of transmit- and receive-chain circuits. The attenuators are available in attenuation configurations ranging from 2 dB to 6 dB and can handle up to 2 Watts of power.
