Irel's TRK 08 series are small polarised, bistable electromagnetic relays with a DC energising coil. The 1 C/O, 1 make, 1 break relay is rated for 5 A, 250 V a.c. (min. switching load is 5 V d.c. 100 mA). The changeover is activated by a voltage pulse.
These relays measure 10,2 x 10,7 x 20,3 mm, weigh about 5 g, and are made for soldering directly into the PCBs of industry and general-purpose equipment.
Different coil values are available to allow the relay to operate from either 3, 5, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 48 V d.c. The relay's contact material is AgSnO2 and AgNi10. Maximum switching power is 1250 VA, 60 to 144 W. They are rated for use in up to +85°C ambient. Mechanical life is over 2 x 107 operations, with electrical life of over 50 000 operations.
