Clare released a new category of telecommunication IC - the CPC5710N phone line monitor (PLM). The CPC5710N is an integrated circuit that implements telephone line interface functions, previously available only with discrete components, saving on printed-circuit board space and cost.
The device uses Clare's LITELINK technologies, and is a CMOS special-purpose amplifier with an additional comparator circuit.
