Wieland's web-empty housing range comprises installation housings suitable for a variety of uses. This series of housings can be fitted together as individual modules or can be fitted together as complete systems.

Designed to house fully equipped PCBs with various connection systems, they can be used in such areas as: devices and control systems for consumer electronics; industrial electronics; control engineering; data systems engineering; or are suitable for universal applications.

The web connection system is independent from the housing component. 68 connections per housing is possible for individual supplementary circuits and no type of connection is prescribed. Therefore, screw, pluggable, two-part terminals or even mixed systems can be used.

The web housing solution provides protection for sensitive components. Wieland's solution also has the advantage of safety and functionality with field-tested connection systems. Further advantages are: long service life, even under extreme conditions; good technical design; reliability; low costs; problem-free application; many housing variations and locating foot for all common mounting rails.
