Cree has added two new LED arrays to its CXA family featuring high lumen output and efficacy.
The CXA1304 is the most compact member of the family, delivering up to 1034 lumens in a 6 mm optical-source size and enabling lighting manufacturers to address small-form-factor lighting applications. The array is offered in an easy-to-use package that eliminates the need for reflow soldering. Optimised to simplify designs and lower system cost, the CXA1304 can enable system-level performance of 250 to 800 lumens.
The CXA1816 LED is offered in a similar package and can enable system-level performance of 1300 to over 2000 lumens, enabling applications that traditionally use halogen, ceramic metal halide and compact fluorescent technology.
