DownStream Technologies' CAM350 V7.6 is the latest version of its mainstream PCB fabrication flow solution. CAM350 is used by PCB designers to correct fabrication errors early in the design process and by PCB fabricators to optimise the fabrication process. The latest release contains two significant functionality enhancements, numerous software corrections/performance improvements, and represents the fourth update to the product since DownStream purchased it from Innoveda (now Mentor Graphics).
CAM350 now contains a fast array module. This easy-to-use module allows the PCB designer to quickly array a board (or group of boards) on a panel with minimal setup and definition prior to submitting the design for fabrication. It also allows the designer to save time by easily making design changes without having to redo the panelisation.
PCAD Interface
As part of DownStream Technologies' commitment to providing tools that are compatible with all leading PCB CAD systems, CAM350 V7.6 also includes an improved PCAD interface. The PCAD 2001/2002 support now enables CAM350 users to maintain tighter integration with the latest PCAD releases.
